Construction update

Construction is continuing to progress at Bank Street Park.

Site establishment is complete including installation of the inclusive site amenities.

Recent works on site have focused on preparing the area for the next stage of construction, with important early activities now underway.

Hazardous materials (HAZMAT) works have been completed, supporting the safe removal and management of materials from existing structures.

Works currently underway including demolition of existing buildings 1-3A and removal of demolition rubble and debris off site. A barge has been used to access buildings close to the water. Ports Authority will continue to provide updates to water users through marine notices, ensuring safe navigation in the area.

The project team also had the pleasure of welcoming Year 10 student Sasha, who spent a week on site undertaking work experience. During this time, Sasha assisted and shadowed the team, reviewing drawings, attending meetings and gaining insight into project delivery and site operations.
