Bank Street Park planning modification 2 approved

In November 2025, Infrastructure NSW lodged a planning application to modify elements of the approved concept design for Bank Street Park.

The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure recently approved the modification application. 

During the public exhibition period, a total of thirteen (13) submissions were received. A number of design updates have been made in response to the feedback, and to improve the park’s usability, access and long term outcomes:

• Reconfiguration of the new public amenities building to provide additional amenities/toilets and baby change facilities.
• Fencing around the marina building will be removed to better integrate it with the surrounding park.

The Bank Street Park project will revitalise the area, converting it into a vibrant, active waterfront destination for the community to enjoy.
